What is Botox
Botox is the popular name for botulinum toxin produced by the bacterium called Clostridium botulinum, which causes botulism, but this toxin when industrialized is purified and used in doses that do not cause the disease.
Botox in aesthetic use is indicated to minimize wrinkles and facial expression lines such as forehead wrinkles, glabella which is the space between the eyebrows, the crow's feet that are the wrinkles in the eye region.
Facial fill is most recommended in cases of grooves around the lips as
the line between the nose and the corner of the mouth, the famous Chinese bidgode.
This treatment brings much more visible results than the use of wrinkle creams, but its indication depends on an individualized medical evaluation.
According to Dutch law dentists are currently allowed to apply botox and fillers.
